The latest milestone of her career is that he has been welcomed as a member of The Recording Academy of Santa Monica, California, local chapter in Nashville, Tennessee. Her acceptance includes voting rights for the Grammy Awards, admittance to the Grammy Awards Celebration and other affiliated affairs. For such an extended time, Dr. Brown has served untiringly in kingdom work and ministry. Her gifts of business administration, church order, and innovative capabilities positioned her allowing her gift of singing to captivate audiences. Receiving the announcement from The Recording Academy confirms the good favor of God. She had been off the gospel singing scene for over 20+ years; however, her new project, Alive and Well, with Monte Stephens, a 21-time Grammy contender is excelling. She herself is now a 9-time Grammy contender. Despite her accomplishments in the music industry, Monte and Janice would rather touch hearts than make the charts. Her success is a typical example of Isaiah 40:31, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be wary. They shall walk and not faint.
On May 3, 2010, Monte Stephens and Dr. Brown were joined in holy matrimony. The two of them is a unique blend of profound Christian music and ministry. In October 2011, God ushered the two on a divine assignment as pastors of River of Life Fellowship of Jefferson City, Tennessee.
Dr. Brown is a very loveable, proficient, and diligent young woman. She is anointed by God to evangelize, teach, and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Singing is just one of her talents, but her divine call is to teach and preach the word of God. Her goal is to win one million souls to the Kingdom of God.
She is now the proud author of a book, "His Word For Troubled Times." Dr. Brown unfolds the secret to God's love in this collection of messages. With the anointing and insight into the Word of God, Janice will help you see and understand that God's desire is to bring healing for your soul, mind, body, and spirit in these troubled times. The book also gives a brief testimony of her life, which has proven to others that they, too, like Janice, can be an overcomer of adversity.
